I am taking over!

Mommy is not doing a very good job keeping my blog up to date, so I have decided it's up to me! A lot of things have been happening lately to keep me busy. This week I became an American citizen. I had to go see the U.S. consul and give him pictures of me. Soon I will have a US passport just like Noé. I don't think I can be president though. I will have to become president of France instead.

My favorite thing to play with right now is my left hand. I also like my right hand, but not as much. I love my mobile. It turns in circles and has bunnies on it. I also love watching my big brother. He is so funny! He dances and jumps and runs around, and sometimes he comes to give me my "fire" or sing me lullabies.

Sometimes I get so happy I squeal with delight! But most of the time I like to coo or say "areu." Papa likes it when he comes home from work and holds me and I look right at him and give him a big smile and coo like a little dove.

Lucia et la Luciole

Lucia is always very happy to look at dragonflies and giraffes. She also has a particular appreciation for puppies and pink flowers.

She dreams of visiting exotic destinations, and sometimes she stares at pictures of banana plantations and rice paddies.

Beginning at the Beginning

Once upon a time there was a beautiful little girl named Lucia who lived in a little house with her Mommy, her Papa, and her big brother Noé. They were a very happy family. Papa spent all day with his head in the clouds and Mommy chased after Noé, who liked to dance, run away, and spend a lot of time upside-down.

Noé already had a blog where he told his friends about everything he was learning. But Lucia thought it was only fair that everyone get to hear her side of the story too. So she asked her Mommy to make her a blog to tell everyone about the things she likes, like caterpillars, milk, watching Noé play, and being a princess.

And Voilà! Her blog was born!
